The Val Di Mazara is located at the extreme peak of the province of Trapani and western Sicily, a natural bank on the Mediterranean Sea for all North African Countries. This particularly rich and flat land has always been a spot where different cultures and races have met and faced each other since ancient times. This rich heritage is proved not only by the architectural beauties but also by the ancient cultivation techniques in order to obtain the best products.
The “Strada del Vino e dei Sapori Val di Mazara” was established in June 2000 by a group of wine entrepeneur based in the towns of Mazara del Vallo, Petrosino, Salemi and Campobello di Mazara.
The mission of the Association is to promote the area putting in place a development programme in order to promote the natural, cultural and historical beauties which are part of the Tours, and promoting the associates companies, together with the rural areas, the wines and local gastronomic products.
The association encourages wine and agriculture production, together with the typical products and services of the area.
It is also important to spread the image and knowledge of the Association and its efforts through promotional activities and information campaigns.
The Association has among its main objectives the promotion of the DOC Delia Nivolelli: a wine with unique characteristics, with a sensory profile and better able to compete on national and international markets. |
